Have fun with polymer clay and make your own jewellery, trinkets and figurines. Learn to mould, shape, combine colours and bake till they are ready to take home!

 

The founder of Loucrative Crafts, Anita Kohli uses her magic fingers to create fun jewellery and figurines from polymer clay. The result is a durable piece that’s unbreakable, enjoying a distinct advantage over terracotta jewellery. The imported clay is soft enough to be moulded efficiently and hardens upon baking in an oven. The clay is lightweight, versatile and has a casual appeal. It comes in both matte and glossy finishes. The colour doesn’t fade either.

Learn to make clay sculptures with artist and sculptor Himadri Bhattacharya. Experiment with the clay, learn to mould and shape it and finally, set it and allow it to dry.

 

An accomplished painter and sculptor, Himadri Bhattacharya has experimented with various mediums, including painting with oils on canvas, watercolours and sculptures. He has held over 30 group shows and several solo shows all over India.

He studied painting and sculpture at Silpi Chakra in Midnapore, West Bengal, Triveni Kala Sangam in New Delhi and Bangio Sangit Parsad, besides an Art Appreciation course under National Museum, New Delhi. He regularly conducts art workshops for Sahitya Kala Parisad, Gurukul in Brindavan, besides reputed schools and colleges in Delhi.

Learn the basics of glass-painting, which involves choosing the design, sketching it on glass with a special pen, filling in the colours and allowing them to set and dry. Finally, take home your own masterpiece.

 

Sid Ghosh is a creative consultant, who has worked in several senior roles in the media and publishing industry for over a decade. Trained at Shankar’s Academy, he has also received recognition from the Sahitya Kala Parishad. His quirky personality is visible in all his work, which includes creating brand identities or his visual art. A restless soul, he can be found painting his son’s shoes in funky pop art, sketching his favourite musical icons or creating beautiful, serene glass paintings in his free time.
